I’m really happy we got back to the deadlifts! The jumping squats are new. That’s something I need to practice on.
I did:
Supersets: Snatch: 3-3-3-2-2-2-1-1; and Bench press: 8-6-5-4-3-2-1
Snatch: 75-80-85-95-100-105-110-115
Bench: 125-135-145-155-165-175-180
Then: Overhead squat: 5-5-5-5-5 – 100-110-120-130-135
Then: Supersets: Sumo deadlift high pull: 3×12; and single-arm KB swing: 3×10
SDLHP: 95lb; KB: 53lb
Then: 2 rounds: 12 plyo push-ups; 12 plate jumps
I really enjoyed the work out today! I’m also very glad we got to do deadlifts again. Hopefully next time I’ll be able to add more weight!
143 Squats
57 Jumping Pull-Ups
I tried to focus using primarily my upper body to try to get the most out it, that’s why I don’t have as many reps as others. Overall, it was a fun little work. Even though I was still pretty tired at the end of it, it was definitely one of our easier ones. Looking forward to, hopefully, doing this sort of team exercise again.
I got in a total of only 63 squats and pull-ups. Myself and my teammates made the mistake of running too fast and wound up losing reps
I am happy with working myself up to 115 lbs on the four sets of five deadlifts. My deadlifts get stronger each week, so hopefully that trend continues!!
71 jumping squats
68 jumping pull-ups
I really enjoy the team workouts. I feel like I work harder knowing that someone else is relying on me to finish quickly or get as many reps are possible.
Sophomore workout. I finished the WOD within the 16-min cap, but barely; I finished the last kettlebell swing in the last second. 😀
I’m definitely enjoying the team workouts, it’s a great motivator.
The pull ups were hard, because our box was so low it required a lot of upper body strength, which is good (if you have upper body strength)! A lot of fun to work as a team though. I did not record our team’s score.
This workout was hard. After the pull up I had ab cramps. It was fun though and it felt like a race which gave some more motivation.
