This was saucy. It was raining, which made grip an added issue. We did the walks outside, and no matter how much I chalked my hands prior to the walks, the kettlebells were hard to hold. We were doing this WOD in the back room, so I scaled my squats back 10 pounds, for fear of having to dump the weight. Consequently I would have hit my husband (who was right in front of me); this would have been bad. The pullups were my rest period during this WOD. It was, overall, demanding and fun (as always).
20:15, 35# kettlebells/85# OHS
I retested this workout last night. Having done the workout back in September, I hoped to be able to go harder and faster than the first time and to beat my time by as much as I could muster. I managed to shave 1:45 off. I kept my weight at 85# for the OHS, but the KB used in the farmer’s walk was as rx’d.
