Today was a lot of fun. I was pleased with my sit- up results. (51 in 2 min) Running, and basically anything having to do with my legs, needs a bit of work but that can come in time.
First class. Exhausted. But I feel great and we’re only going to get better from here!
Goal for the sem: do 1 pull up…
Feeling awesome after today, and know I will sleep soundly tonight;-)! I was pretty content with my numbers today, but looking forward to improving those numbers every day!
Looking forward to the next year of PE!! Hopefully I can improve my numbers even more next time we do benchmarks.
Sit-ups: 41
Squat jumps: 40
Pull ups: Not yet. 🙂 Getting closer, though.
Shuttle run: 57 sec (I think)
Can’t wait to improve my benchmarks!
1. 25
2. uhhhh… next question? (Zero.)
3. 1 minute 16?
4. 21
5 & 6 the info has been lost in public records.
1. 37
2. 7
3. 57 seconds
4. 40
5. 210 lbs.
6. 36 1/2
1. I did 20 sit ups.
2. I completed none.
3. 1 minute 15 seconds (it could be 10)
4.14 squat jumps
Okay… I honestly haven’t exercised in a long while. I think it was kind of atrocious to a beginner. I know how to squat now. This is an improvement from Tuesday, when I didn’t know how to squat. I feel confident now getting out of chairs. Ha ha. Just kidding. It still hurts. Also, sit ups. Every time I laugh it burns because of them. I consider the future… when I can compartmentalize the pain and the gain. Thank you! I am actually looking forward to more classes.
My last PE class was in freshman year of high school so I’m really excited to get back into shape!
Honestly, I’m still sore. But I’m excited to see how I improve throughout the year!
1. I think I did twenty something max sit ups. Maybe 25.
2. Pull ups? Zero.
3. The 300m shuttle run for me was 1 min and 8 secs?
4. Max squat jumps was 17.
5. Bodywieght was 122-123 lbs.
I could have done better on Wednesday. I didn’t do as bad on the setups as I thought I would, but still I could do more.
Overall it gave me some benchmarks that I can try and grow from.
47 sit ups, 1:02 on the 300 meter run, and only 6 pull-ups (could’ve done more if I did it before the other exercises). I did only 15 squat jumps- still learning how to properly squat. Weight 131 pounds, waistline 31 cm- not much has changed there.
Class was tough in an enjoyable way. Last time I had a proper gym class/instructor was in 12th grade (little bit over one year ago).
Looking forward to this year’s challenges!
Max sit ups: 27
Pull ups: Nearly, but not quite 🙂
300m shuttle run: not entirely sure… maybe 1:02-1:05???
Squat jumps: 23 maybe????
I loved getting back into fitness and I am so excited to see the improvements over the next 2 years and beyond, but I really want to learn to push myself right to my limits and even beyond. Improving on my results will be an indicator of this, but more so I just want to make sure that at the end of each workout set, I have pushed myself beyond what I though I could and beyond the pain. That is the goal… in theory for now… and hopefully in practice soon…
Following up on the first comment…
Max sit ups: 61
Pull-ups: 4
Shuttle run: 54 secs
Squat jumps: 40
Goal for this year: 10-12 pull-ups!!
1. 2 min max sit ups: 63
2. Max strict pull-ups, 1 set: 7
3. 300m shuttle run: 50 seconds
4. Max squat jumps, 1 set: 35
I have not had a PE class live since my 8th grade year so I am really looking forward to learning how to better push myself and to establishing a desire and a yearning to workout on my own outside of class.
can’t do sit ups yet, 0 pull-ups though I tried. 1:17? shuttle run and 21 squats?
Dani is amazing:)
1. 37 max sit ups
2. No pull ups
3. Shuttle run: 1.40 seconds
4. 21 squat jumps
My stomach was literally trembling after the max sit ups.
50 sit-ups
15 pull-ups
and no running or squatting.
Benchmarks are awesome. They’re like that quiz you bombed last year in French with that super cool teacher that is just like, you should probably retake this test if you want to have a chance in life. And you just keep retaking, each time getting closer to that A!
Great things are on the horizon. Do well soldiers.
1.) 2 min. max sit-ups: 24
2.) Max strict pull-ups, 1 set: 0
3.) 300m shuttle run: 57 Seconds
4.) Max squat jumps, 1 set: 16
5.) Bodyweight: 94 pounds
6.) Waist measurement: 24
Seeing these Freshmen benchmarks is exciting. There’s so much work being done in the JAFH this year!
