Freshmen and sophomores! Let’s get those double-unders! For those who don’t yet have them, take a moment to review these two videos (here and here) for some guidance before you undertake the WOD:
12 minutes of double-under practice
For those who do have them:
300 double-unders
You could do the second workout and then just stop at 12 minutes if you haven’t finished.
Post time or total completed for second workout–or most consecutive double-unders achieved–to comments. Be sure to post if you make encouraging progress!
11 I did this!
Made a great improvement. Longest consecutive was 16. 122 total in 12 minutes.
12 min, 110 total. Longest consecutive was 7.
Worked on it some slight improvement. I will need to do this a few more times before end of the semester.

Longest string was 15.
This was tougher than I expected. My timing was horrific for the first hundred, but after that it started to work well. Trying to use my calves rather than my quads for lift helped keep my legs straight.
Practice, practice practice!
225 after 12 minutes. I’ll probably try it again during break and see if I can get all of them under 12:00.
10:30
251.
Longest stretch was 10.

Nice! Way to go folks!
230 at 12 minutes
300 at 15 minutes
I underestimated the affects of doing 300 double-unders. Ouch! Around 15 at the beginning. About 7 towards the end.
Next time for sure!
Slowly getting the hang of it. Needing to work on using wrists and timing my jump. 13. Will do again.
Since I’m stuck at home with just a kettlebell and speed rope I thought I’d do this one again!
8:45 it go better! Woo hoo!
Game on Dani!
