For time and for fun:
10K run with interruptions: Around every 10 minutes, everyone stops and does the next item on this list:
– 800m piggyback ride/partner carry (pairs can switch off as necessary until distance is covered; if an odd number, two people carry the third person together, anyhow)
– 15 handstand push-ups (partner holds legs upright)
– 15 partner back squats (put partner on back)
– 50 push-ups
– 50 walking lunges
– 100 squats
« Mandatory out-of-class WOD: Helen/Cindy Wendler Cycle, week 3 »
We had five in our Tough Mud Club this morning and completed this WOD in about 1:13.
It was a brisk morning but warmed up as we went.
The piggyback/carry portion was by far the toughest. Half-mile of that is a fur piece.
The rest was fairly straightforward.
Enjoyed breaking up the runs with the obstacles.
Makes me look forward to the Mudder all the more.
Three of us concluded the WOD with a quick jump in the 10-acre lake. Invigorating!!
Thanks for joining, fellas!
Enjoyable workout. Good way to start a Sunday.
Having Mr. Hilliker in my ear encouraging me while I was squatting with him on my shoulders is not a memory I’ll forget too soon.
