This workout came from http://www.crossfitlinchpin.com/. This is the first of twelve tests our family plans to do to measure progress and expose weaknesses. They cover a broad range of movements, repetition ranges, etc. We hope to use them in assessing our weaknesses in order to set skill work goals. We are currently nearing mastery of handstand walks. Learning this new skill has been a giant step forward for me, as I was always afraid of inversion (being upside down) of any kind. (And I have NO gymnastics experience whatsoever.)
The above workout was a challenge. Fran, in itself is taxing, let alone with 1200 meters of fast running. The thruster weights are lighter, so that made it bearable.
I got 18:32 on this one and completed it rx’d.
The boys scaled their weight to (25/15) but completed the entire workout.
It was taxing, but I found it a load of fun!
