WOD:
40-30-20-10 rep rounds of:
Wallball shots, 20/12 lb
Box jumps, 24/18″
Kettlebell swings, 1.5/1 pood
If you want, you can do “Morrison,” a hero WOD, which adds a set of 50 to the beginning (so it’s five rounds, of 50-40-30-20-10)
Other work …
Do any previous “other work” piece you haven’t done before.
Focus on skills you’re trying to pick up.
If you’ve done all those, you can do one of the “Big Tent” workouts.
12 I did this!
Morrison: 30:06 Rx’d
I had a feeling that would be rough. I was shooting for around 25 minutes.
But wow—it was a lot rougher than I thought. I am blitzed.
Feeling that wine and dessert from last night. 🙁
Used the tallest box (18 inches) and heaviest kettlebell (30 lbs) available.
Morrison: 27:35
That was a good one!
This…was like going to death’s door and then ding-dong-ditching at the last second. I didn’t think I’d be able to finish. It was pretty rough. My time was 28:06.
I know your pain!
23:40
Morrison “Lite” with 18′ box, 1 1/2 pood, 20 lb ball
Wowee this was super hard on my feet, never done wall-balls with 12 pounds before, didn’t quite make the mark on the wall every time, but did my best and got 15:04.
That was painful. Glad I had a work out buddy with Danielle. My shoulders ache from that kettle bell. I anticipate shaky legs tomorrow!
Completed the full Morrison Rx’d in 29.45.
This was a super workout!!
Glad I had the support of Justin G and Joel Hudson – made it a lot more bearable.
150 American Kettle ball swings definitely take their toll 🙂
Tough Workout! Maaaan…
Done it with my fellow manly brothers Kiall and Justin G!
Completed Rx’d in 27:15
After doing the wallballs, it was hard to muster up the strength to jump onto the box – the feet didn’t want to lift off the ground! Haha
I also completed 50 wallballs in a row for skill (part of the Morrison WOD) and first bar muscle up!
Definitely one of the toughest workouts for me so far … but I felt accomplished when it was all over!!
Full morrison.
31:05
My time was 35:40 with a 16lb medball, 24 inch box and a 1 pood KB. Brutal, but fulfilling.
Well, that was interesting. I did a scaled version, since I’m still not well enough to attempt the full. On the plus side, my deadlifts have dramatically improved–I have 3/4 bodyweight now and am close to bodyweight! 🙂
My arms…. I think they died…
Thanks for shaving off that first 50!!!!! 🙂
35:45. (Full). I had sore muscles the next day that I didn’t even know existed in my back.
That was tough. Didn’t quite make it over the line on the wallballs every time, but did the shorter one in 16.45.
I did the whole thing. It was painful. It took me 37 minutes and 30 seconds.
