A “chipper” is a longer workout, typically one round for time, that you just “chip away” at. Some say it’s a workout that, at the end, makes you feel like you feel like you were fed through a chipper. This is a scaled-down version of a mainsite chipper:
For time:
20 Wall ball shots, 15/8
20 Sit-ups
20 Box jump, 24/20″ box
20 Push-ups
20 Double-unders
20 Thrusters, 35/15 lb dumbbells
20 Pull-ups
20 Kettlebell swings, 1.5/1 pood
20 Dips
20 Burpees
20 Walking lunge steps
20 Knees to elbows
For crazy people, the Rx’d version of this workout, from the mainsite, is this (women would scale the weight and still be considered Rx’d):
For time:
20 Wall ball shots, 20 lb ball
20 Sit-ups
20 Box jump, 24″ box
20 Push-ups
20 Cleans, 135 lb
20 Double-unders
20 Thrusters, 35 lb dumbbells
20 Pull-ups
20 Overhead squats, 95 lb
20 Kettlebell swings, 1.5 poods
20 Push press, 95 lb
20 Dips
20 Sumo deadlift high pull, 95 lb
20 Burpees
20 Back squats, 135 lb
20 GHD sit-ups
20 Walking lunge steps
20 Deadlifts, 135 lb
20 Knees to elbows
20 Front squats, 135 lb
I did this Rx’d and it really kicked my tail.
I had stopwatch issues, but it took me about 35 minutes.
I also got confused and did the dips and sdlhp after the deadlift.
Don’t think it mattered any in the big picture though.
Wow! Nice job Mr. H. I think that would have taken an hour or so for a regular person.
I did the Chipper and it took 11:31.
I did the chipper with Victoria L. and Joel P, but we had stopwatch problems, so we don’t exactly know how long it took us
10:58 didn’t feel so chipper afterwards
This one took me a while – 23:17min
This took me 21.5 minutes
13:25 for the Chipper!
