28:17 @ deadlift 255lb (Rx’d); squat 185lb (1.1bw); press 105 (.6bw)
I think I chose the right weights for each lift, although for the last four rounds I ended up using a slight dip drive on the press.
Tough, tough WOD for me.
Had Mr. Burns and Rob there too. This is a very set-up intensive workout!
Wow! This was pretty intense, but I really enjoyed it.
deadlift 185 (Rx’d) These actually felt really good.
squat 135 (1.1bw) I think I could have gone heavier but I played it safe because I have never gone over my bodyweight before.
press 75 (.6bw) I was a little nervous about this life but I was able to do them all strict and the last 5 rounds were unbroken!
That’s a lot of weight to throw around for that many reps. Maybe one day I will be able to do this Rx’d.
*lift (not life)
Deadlift @ 150# (1.2 BW)
Back Squat @ 135# (1.1 BW)
Press @ 75# (.6 BW)

Not only was I SUPER-SORE from Tabata This!, but I was on a time crunch. After doing one round rx’d, I decided to power through it I HAD to drop weight. Nonetheless, I’m not sure that I could maintain that volume of weight over that many reps. The above weights felt much safer. 🙂 Great variation to the original “bars of death”.
