15 I did this!
« Team WOD: Five Stations of Fun Mandatory out-of-class WOD: Helen/Cindy »
27:24
6K
26.50
This wasn’t as bad as I expected, but it was still long. I mentally looked at it as 500m increments and I kept my 500m time under 2.30 for the whole time. The last 1500 meters, I was doing sub-2 minute 500m. I also changed my form slightly for the last 2000m; I started pushing my knees out at the start of the row. That gave me an extra six inches of reach, which increased my meters per pull.

Not as bad as I thought it would be, really cranked it out the last 200m, I really wanted it in under 25.
26:40
This was exhausting π
6K 25.04 on number 6
Fun!
6km 23:50
Watching the distance is a bad idea π Pushed for sub-25minutes and really enjoyed fighting for the last 1km.
5km Row,

Gabby really helped me to keep going! She would let me stop.
Naw I wouldn’t π
You done an awesome job Ton π

I did this after the Triplets WOD, and I won’t lie this was horrible. Rowing is my least favorite thing to do in the gym (I would honestly rather do burpees.) Yet, I was really glad I did this – I liked the challenge and crossfit is supposed to be constantly varied.
Mind over matter, dear. I told you.
You’ll be glad you have this one under your belt. π
21:11
This was a lot better than I was expecting. I still really dislike rowing tho! :p

And then I undid it all 3 hours later with 2 large, delectable carrot cake muffins with cream cheese icing. π Big mistake methinks.
6000m 26:15
24:28
I started this during class on Friday and didn’t get to finish. So I did it all after work. It felt good to get it accomplished! π
25:32
My arms are sore π
24:30 Minutes
I loved it! My arms started burning half-way in though.
When I became tired, I kept telling myself to at least keep moving- every stroke, every second counted. I slowed down a bit whenever I needed to get a few deep breaths in.
I felt great soon after I finished rowing.
5K: 19:13 (PR by 47 seconds!) π
I am pleased.
Terrific job on these rows, folks!
New PR for 5K – 19:56
Cracked the 20 min!
