I’m thinking this is really slow, but me and dips don’t get along. I have bummed shoulders that just pop a lot, so by the 4th round I was doing the dips one at a time, and for the last two rounds I did them off a bench. I guess I should work them and make them stronger and not just ignore them.
Deadlifts were cake at 175, so probably need to increase that next time.
Dips were going well till the fourth round when my triceps told me they didn’t want to complete the range of motion to the top. I then used the elastic band thingy.
I did straight seven dips for the first three round which made me happy.
I did this one after the “Break the Chain” WOD. This one really blasted my rope-climbing muscles that are already a little on the mend from new use. I had to begin breaking the dip reps (4/3) at round three. By round five, I was kipping the dips to get the full extension.
The deadlifts were a breeze but that just meant the dips came around again (yuck). I haven’t figured out how to kip a dip so I did them all static and they were tough! The last round I had to do all 7 individually.
Deadlifts were cake. I did them all in one set except the second round (hadn’t settled into my groove yet =P ). The dips were harder. I did the first four rounds in one set, but after that I was splitting it up into sets and by the last round, I couldn’t get hands to armpits, so I had to short the ROM a little just to get the movement done.

The deadlifts were a nice breather.
I liked this one.

The dips made me work. My last 2 rounds were the worst.
5:43 @ 95# (assisted dips with a band)
Probably should have gone heavier on the deadlifts.
8:57 at 115#; dips on bench
The deadlifts were killing me by the 5th round. First 4 rounds were unbroken. Last three: broken.
