Team WOD — frosh v. sophs:
There are two simultaneous relays going on with each team. Each member:
– Rows 1K (one at a time)
– Runs 800m (one at a time)
Meanwhile for the men …
Each member finds:
– 3RM back squat
– 3RM deadlift
Also, each member does:
– 1 set max reps push-ups
– 1 set max reps pull-ups
– One rope climb (sub 5 ground-to-stand)
Winner is determined by score:
• First team to finish the runs = 15 points
• First team to finish the rows = 15 points
• Team with highest total back squat weight = 10 points
• Team with highest total deadlift weight = 10 points
• Team with most push-ups = 8 points
• Team with most pull-ups = 8 points
• Also, best score on each of the above earns team 2 additional points
Most points wins!
For the women …
Each member does:
– 1 set max shoulder press @ 45 lb
– 1 set max back squat @ 75 lb
– 1 set max deadlift @ 95 lb
– 1 minute max double-unders
– 1 set max reps push-ups
– 1 set max reps pull-ups or knees-to-elbows
• First team to finish the runs = 15 points
• First team to finish the rows = 15 points
• Team with most shoulder presses = 7 points
• Team with most back squats = 7 points
• Team with most deadlifts = 7 points
• Team with most double-unders = 7 points
• Team with most push-ups = 7 points
• Team with most pull-ups/K2E = 7 points

I really like the ones where we get to max out our weight…it allows me to see my improvement really well

Whew this one wasn’t too bad, running in the cold was very refreshing 🙂
I agree with Jordan, although because my max’s aren’t so big with some of those exercises, I feel like I didn’t work enough.
I’m with Jen! The run was really refreshing. I think this work out was only limited for me because I couldn’t do all the movements well enough to get a decent max rep, just as Dani said. The team aspect of it was awesome!
I agree with Danielle. Although my muscles were fatigued from certain exercises within the workout, overall I didn’t feel like I worked very hard after this one.
I enjoyed this workout – felt spent after the 1,000m row!

I liked the workout. Although I went from push ups to pull ups….bad idea
I was happy that I was able to dead lift a 95pound weight which I had never tried before and I really liked working together as a group. It was fun to do so many different things at once.
This was such a great work out, but I wish I didn’t have an ankle injury so I could have done more. I love doing team workouts like this. 🙂
Great workout Challenge. I couldn’t do all of the workouts with my rib but tried to make up for it with the ones I could!
