Thanks everyone for turning out! Absolutely perfect weather, inspiring National Anthem performance from the Junior Ambassadors, wonderful participation from the whole spectrum of the family, and lots of smiles—a tremendously successful event. We had 106 participants—49 men and 55 women. That’s basically double what we had last year. Terrific job, everybody!

21 I did this!
That was interesting, and I can’t wait to see how I’ll do next year.
Wooo! This was fun! I did so much better than last year! I think I did the 5k in 40 mins… I can’t remember though. Regardless of how I did time wise, I had a lot more fun and a lot more stamina! I can’t wait for next year!
Woot, at least I beat my class time 5K by 2:30
This was great! Can’t wait ’till next year.
It was really fun! Can’t wait for next year! 🙂
Aaahhhhh so much fun and so much easier than last year. This proves that you should do it more than once. 🙂
Great effort ya’ll. It was a good day to run.
That was fun!
Sheared a solid 1:30 off my class time. Woo! This was so much fun in a group environment!
Had a nice little battle with Daniel Westerbaan! Really enjoyed it, would love to have one of these every semester.
Way to finish strong Kiall!
This was way more fun than any normal 5K! I ended up beating my goal by almost 2 minutes and beating my time for class by 5 minutes! I can’t wait until next year! Pricey here I come! JK
I was dissapointed to see that I am no longer married?? Was a fun race! Thanks to all the organizers for an enjoyable afternoon and the competitors for your motivation.
Oops. Got you all fixed up now! Just give us a few more years and we’ll have it!
That was TONS of fun! I LOVE how many participated. It felt so bonding =)
Also I lost over 2 minutes off of my personal best so I’m happy =)
Much easier than I was anticipating! I think the previous 5K experience in PE was a little scarring due to the weather conditions, but the weather for this one was perfect!
Congratulations Mr. Hilliker and Erica Irwin! And everyone who finished the race-you all went the distance.=)
What a fun way to exercise, with so many friends and family! My goal was 50 minutes or less. I had never attempted a 5k with a stroller, so I wasn’t sure how much I’d run and how much I’d walk. My plan initially was to just walk the 5k, but I was spurred by all those around me, especially one Mrs Maggie Hilliker, thank you! 😉
This was such a unifying event; running along side family and friends, classmates and teachers. I don’t know what made this so much easier than last year (maybe because it was before Thanksgiving this time). It was tons of fun! Really look forward to next year.
It was SOO much fun! I loved it sooo much! It was so refreshing. I hope to keep improving my time. 🙂
