Wow. That’s a toughie. I didn’t really think it through when I chose to do this, but every movement here was a core burner. The stiff-legged deadlifts really work the glutes and hammies, as do the back extensions. The GHDs and K2E torch the belly. So the middle third of the body gets put through the wringer.
My back has been bugging me a bit this week. I think I was doing the form on the stiff-legged deadlifts poorly and compromising my back.

With stiff legged deadlifts and back extensions, the lower back gets tired fast and so we tend to round it outwards due to muscle exhaustion. It’s imperative though that you keep your natural inward arch throughout each rep to prevent undue muscle strain. It’s the difference between muscle soreness and injury.
