The shoulder presses were painfully slow. But love the combination of a strength element and a gymnastic movement.
4 rounds 7 @ 65 pounds.
Talk about a humbling experience with the shoulder presses, especially with a girls basketball team watching me the whole time.
But, shoulders are feeling it, today two days after the fact.
7 rounds 5 w/ 45lbs. and 25lbs.
My shoulders were shot after the first round. I hate not using my legs and having to take weight off. Bleh. All my strength is my legs.
I was being dumb and tried to do this with a pulled bicep. After five minutes of unbelievable pain, I decided it wasn’t worth it. I’ll do this one another day. I did get two rounds and five shoulder press at 95 pounds before I quit.

This, along with the rope ascents post WOD, left my triceps and surrounding muscles sore.
The push-presses remained strong during the WOD. Three rounds in, I began doing two sets of five. I’m not sure if that helped more PHYSICALLY…or PSYCHOLOGICALLY. Nonetheless, the pass-throughs felt the hardest for me.
