BA and CFE WOD: Partner Challenge:
Three rounds, for reps:
1 minute ground-to-overhead 95/65 (switch with partner as needed)
1 minute partner slamball 20/10
1 minute partner medball sit-ups
1 minute partner medball sprint, passing medball back and forth
1 minute rest
The partner WOD was fun!
Sean and I got 290 reps: 93,94,103
Then I did overhead squat 5-5-5-5-5

I was absolutely DUMBFOUNDED by the freshmen on Murph!
First of all, out of 25 students we had THIRTEEN volunteer to do it.
So the pull-up room was a BLUR of sweat and activity.
Before we started, I announced that my PR on Murph was around 37:00, and anyone who could beat me would get a free Starbucks coffee on me.
After the workout started I went and checked, and it turns out my PR was 35:22.
But then I had FIVE–FIVE!!!–freshmen beat 37:00–and three of them even beat my PR!
I am going to be out some bucks for the five students who got sub-37.
On top of that, we had SEVERAL freshmen in the 37-to-46-minute range, which is still fantastic!
Absolutely EPIC effort!

We also had four sophomores take me up on the Murph offer, and they did very well also.
Way to go!

Did the partner WOD with Jessica: 68+64+75=207 reps. Second round poor due to me somehow managing to drop a barbell on my nose.
The slams were really cool–it was particularly fun to punish the medball for everything it’s put us through. 🙂

Wow! What an intense work out!!! Murph is insane! It didn’t take me an hour yay! It took me 59: 12 mins. I thought I was going to die, but it was worth it 🙂
Wish I had done Murph but think I would have come last, so I did the partner exercise which was the most enjoyable workout I have done so far, so definitely worth it. Saved me legs and arms for basketball.
